John Cimino is a lifetime resident of Hamilton Township, where he lives with his wife Jeannine and young son A.J. John learned the importance of public service early in life by his father, former Assemblyman and State Personnel Commissioner Anthony “Skip” Cimino. In fact, the Cimino family has for almost three decades dedicated itself to serving the residents of Mercer County and Central Jersey.
John is experienced in municipal finance and management and is well prepared to tackle the issues that face our community today. His commitment to improving the economy is evidenced by his service as the Vice-Chair of the Hamilton Economic Advisory Commission and membership in the Economic Development Association of New Jersey. A strong supporter of sound planning in community, John has worked to ensure economic stability. As Chair of Mercer Planning Board and a member of Hamilton Zoning Board and Mercer County Open Space Committees, he has long emphasized the necessity of maintaining and protecting our open spaces and green areas. John also serves on the Lakeview Child Care Centers Board of Trustees, an affiliate of Robert Wood Johnson Hamilton, where he serves as a charter member of their Young Professionals Board. His combination of experience in finance and the community, his strong economic background, and his drive to improve Mercer County’s quality of life makes John Cimino an excellent choice as Freeholder. |
